Zaak has lived in Salisbury his whole life. The workshop at 14/20 Flanders Street is not a depot picked off a map because the rent was cheap. It is minutes from where he grew up, and plenty of the cars that come through it belong to people we already know.
If you know Salisbury you know the shape of it. We sit just before the Toohey Forest entrance, so the bush is at the end of the road. Supernumerary Coffee is around the corner on Toohey Road at Evans, and it is genuinely good rather than just close. The Salisbury Hotel is a few hundred metres the other way if you would rather have lunch and a beer in the garden than a flat white. There is a Maccas for when the kids are in the car and you have run out of negotiating power.
That matters more than it sounds. Detailing means handing your car to a stranger and hoping. Being able to say we are from here, the shop is here, and we are not going anywhere is most of the reason people book us a second time.

Why some jobs belong in a workshop
We are a mobile business first, and most jobs are better done at your door. But three things a driveway cannot give you are shelter, consistent light and time, and those are exactly what the high-end work needs.
Ceramic coating has to cure. It is a chemical bond, and it stays sensitive to temperature, humidity, dust and rain for hours after it goes on. Applied in an open driveway in a Brisbane summer, you are gambling on the weather holding. In the shop we control it.
Paint correction needs light you can trust. Finding every swirl mark means dedicated inspection lighting from several angles. Sunlight moves, shade hides defects, and a defect you cannot see is a defect you cannot remove.
Heavy restoration needs hours. A car neglected for years, a work ute full of set-in grime, a full multi-stage correction. These run long, and they run better when nobody is watching the clock or the sky.

We are at 14/20 Flanders Street, Salisbury QLD 4107, about 10 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD and easy to reach from the M1, M3 and Ipswich Road.
Book a time, drop the car off, and we will call you when it is ready. Most people leave the car with us for the day. Coating jobs usually need it overnight so the coating cures properly before it goes back out into the weather.
If you would rather not be without the car, say so when you book and we will look at doing the job at your place instead. The shop is an option, not a rule.

Flanders Street runs off Evans Road, and we are in the industrial block behind the shops. If you end up at the wrong roller door, ring us and we will wave you down. It happens more than you would think and it is never a problem.

One word "Sublime" I had an accident, I had left a full glass bottle of rum in the front seat of my kia stinger on a very hot day .... and you can guess what happened, yes it cracked in half & all the rum soaked into the seat & onto the carpet underneath. I mopped it up best I could & carpet cleaned it twice but still the smell of rum was still there, yuk. Until Nathan from High Shine detailed my interior. My car was recently broken into and oil sprayed throughout, along with forensics dust from the qps and months of neglecting to clean my children occupied car. I booked in for an urgent detail, unfortunately due to time constraints it wasn't able to be completed the first go around (our office closes at 430), Zaak called to check in on how the clean went and I mentioned a couple of things that still needed cleaning and he was quick to send grace back out to complete the job as soon as they had the chance. I called on Monday and the team arrived the next day. I purchased a commercial truck that previous owner had dogs that would travel with him. Dog hair was throughout the truck cabin and Matt didn’t hesitate to get stuck in. After two hours the job was done and the truck had never looked so good without a dog hair in sight. As a fleet owner of commercial trucks, this level of service was far beyond what I expect from most of the photos they provided was on cars. Couldn’t be more happier with the result and will continue to have the team service more of my fleet.

"Interior Restoration" & "Vent Flush" I was really worried about my Grandkids being in the car & thought I definitely needed a professional to do the interior of my daughter's car. My car was desperate for an interior clean (due to my cat doing the one thing we don’t want our pets to do in our car), Zaak was super professional and friendly on the phone and booked me in as soon as possible. Zaak was excellent and explained the deep clean sevice I wanted done on a 2025 Toyota Hiace Van. He was very professional., and excellent customer service. I have an immaculate BMWX3 which has been maintained by me until my health deteriorated. I made an appointment with High Shine to take over my car cleaning. Superbly qualified cleaner arrived with all the machines and materials and left me with an as new vehicle. I will get them every two months for maintenance clean after the in depth clean today. Zac and Lawrence worked on our two cars today, the heat was incredible but that didn't phase them. Could not be happier with the result. My Pajero is over 15 years old, and the paint had accumulated its fair share of swirl marks, I honestly did not expect it to come up this well. The team did a fantastic job; the paint now has a deep gloss and mirror-like finish that makes the vehicle look years younger. Even the wheels, tyres, and engine bay were finished to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

How long do you need my car for?
Most jobs are a single day, dropped off in the morning and collected in the afternoon. Ceramic coating usually needs an overnight stay so it cures fully before the car goes back out into the weather. We will tell you exactly what we need when we quote.
Is the shop more expensive than mobile?
No. The price is driven by the work, not the location. Some jobs are simply better done in the shop, which is why we offer it.
Why can't ceramic coating be done at my house?
It can, and we do it. The result is just more reliable in the shop. A coating cures over several hours and is vulnerable to rain, dust and dew during that window. In Brisbane an open driveway is a weather gamble. Indoors it is not.
Can I wait while the work is done?
For shorter jobs, yes. For a full correction or a coating you would be waiting a long time, so most people drop off and we call when it is ready.
Do I have to use the shop?
Not at all. We are a mobile business and most of our work happens at customers' homes and workplaces. The shop is there for jobs that genuinely benefit from it, and for anyone who would rather drop the car off.
