How We Restore Your Headlights
There are no shortcuts in a professional headlight restoration. Every stage is essential — this is why ours stays clear and DIY kits don't.
1. Assessment & Masking
We assess oxidation level and tape off all surrounding paintwork and trim with masking tape to protect the car during the sanding process. No shortcuts, no lazy masking.
2. Multi-Stage Wet Sanding
We wet sand the lens progressively through multiple grits — starting coarser to remove the oxidised layer and surface defects, finishing finer to prep for polishing. This is what DIY kits skip entirely.
3. Machine Compound Polish
Using a machine polisher and cutting compound, we remove all sanding marks and restore optical clarity to the plastic. This stage is what produces the crystal clear, glass-like result.
4. Final Polish & Refinement
A final finishing polish brings the lens to maximum clarity and removes any remaining micro-marks from the compound stage. We inspect under strong light before moving to sealing.
5. 3 Year Ceramic Coating
This is what separates our restoration from every DIY kit and cheap service out there. We apply a 3 year ceramic coating to the freshly polished lens. It bonds to the polycarbonate and protects against UV re-oxidation for years — not months.
6. Final Inspection
