How It Started
It started with one van and a bit of stubbornness
Zaak Spiteri started High Shine Club in 2023. Not out of a business plan, but out of a genuine obsession with taking a car that somebody had given up on and handing it back looking like something they were proud to drive.
That is still the whole point. There is a moment on nearly every job where the owner goes quiet, walks around the car twice, and then says some version of I forgot it looked like this. That moment is the product. Everything else, the machines, the chemicals, the vans, is just what it takes to get there.
Three years on we are five technicians, four vans and a workshop at 14/20 Flanders Street in Salisbury, working across more than 200 Brisbane suburbs. The thing we are proudest of is not the growth. It is that 250 people took the time to leave a five-star review, and that we have answered every single one of them by hand.

The Workshop

The shop is where the work that cannot be done in a driveway happens. Paint correction needs consistent overhead light to judge properly, and a ceramic coating needs somewhere clean and still to cure. Neither of those exist outside on a windy Tuesday.
It is also the reason Salisbury is our home suburb rather than just another postcode. Zaak grew up here. The shop sits just before the Toohey Forest entrance, with Supernumerary Coffee around the corner and the Salisbury Hotel a few hundred metres the other way, which makes dropping a car off a genuinely pleasant morning rather than a chore.
Drop-off is by appointment so the bay is free when you arrive. Most jobs are finished the same day and we text you the moment the car is ready.

Why we do it the way we do
We come to you, because that is the bit people actually value. Four vans carry every machine, chemical and cloth a full detail needs, so the whole job happens on your driveway while you get on with your day.
But some work belongs in a workshop. Paint correction needs consistent light to judge properly, and a ceramic coating needs somewhere controlled to cure. We will tell you when the shop is the better answer rather than doing it badly in a driveway to save you a trip.
You pay when you are happy, not before. We walk around the car with you at the end. If something is not right we fix it there. That is not a marketing line, it is the reason 250 people bothered to leave a review.
And we quote per car. Two cars of the same model can be four hours apart in work. A flat price list means either overcharging the tidy one or rushing the rough one, and neither is a business we want to run.

Terrific experience with Zaak and Matt from from the High Shine Club. Great communication with Zaak from the initial inquiry through to completion of the job. Matt did an outstanding job on both the interior and exterior of the car, long overdue and it looks amazing. Highly recommended!

How long have you been going?
Since 2023. We started with one van and now run three, plus a workshop in Salisbury.
Who will actually do my car?
One of our five technicians. We do not subcontract and we do not use rotating casuals, which is why the same names keep appearing in our reviews.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully. Your car and your property are covered for the whole time we are working.
Do you only do mobile?
No. Mobile is most of what we do, but we also have a workshop at 14/20 Flanders Street, Salisbury. Coating and correction work is genuinely better done there.
How many suburbs do you cover?
We have detailed cars in more than 200 Brisbane suburbs. Our suburbs page has the full list.
